new identity as Coldwell Banker Boardwalk Realty
Cape Breton real estate professionals Joe McDonald and Leanne Martheleur acquire brokerage formerly known as Coldwell Banker David Butts Realty
(Burlington, Ontario – March 19, 2020) Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Canada is pleased to announce that Cape Breton real estate professionals Joe McDonald and Leanne Martheleur, formerly associated with a local ReMax brokerage, have chosen to affiliate with the Coldwell Banker® global brand and have acquired the ownership of the company formerly known as Coldwell Banker David Butts Realty. The established brokerage, based in Sydney, Nova Scotia and serving communities throughout Cape Breton Island, has been repositioned for growth and renamed Coldwell Banker Boardwalk Realty.
New owners Joe McDonald and Leanne Martheleur are experienced real estate veterans, well known in the real estate industry and with strong roots in the community. The firm’s former owner David Butts will continue as Broker of Record of the newly rebranded company for an interim transition period and will remain with the company in a sales capacity.
The new ownership team of McDonald and Martheleur will apply their local real estate expertise and leadership skills as they implement an exciting growth plan to reposition their rebranded company for the future. Along with a number of experienced sales professionals joining them from their former brokerage, the new members of Coldwell Banker Boardwalk Realty will team with the company’s established sales force to create a newly expanded brokerage.
