Yahia has a degree in Construction Engineering which he obtained while living in Iraq in 1977. He equivalenced his degree at the University of Toronto and obtained a Canadian degree in Construction Engineering in 1993. Yahia speaks Arabic and English which is an asset to his clients as they are able to easily communicate. He specializes in commercial leases, farms, commercial land, multifamily units, investment properties (malls, plazas, industrial buildings etc.), residential homes and condos. Although he only received his Real Estate license in January 2012, he was involved in both Commercial and Residential Real Estate beginning in 1993 by using other agent’s services to buy and sell his own investment properties. Therefore, he was able to gain early experience in this field. Since Real Estate was related to his profession of engineering he has been buying, renovating, selling and/or managing properties of his own and for others for many years. After getting his license, the Real Estate business was a natural fit for Yahia due to his previous experience.
Yahia’s aim is getting his clients the most money when they sell their property and obtaining the most value for a property for his clients when making a purchase. This is his drive behind his abilities to meet his client’s needs. He is always available to assist his clients throughout the buying and selling process including vising the City of Ottawa to inquire about properties, lawyer visits, mortgage brokers and so on to offer constant support during the process.
